We drove on a rough rutted road from the Ringroad to Dettifoss. Just 2km north of Dettifoss is a great view of the deepest and most spectacular section of the Jökulsárgljúfur Canyon, up to 120m deep. The spray from the 27m high Hafragilsfoss can just be seen in the lower left.
