[3 of 32]
Godafoss (Waterfall of the Gods) is a horseshoe-shaped falls right beside the Ring Road, 40km from Akureyri. It was formed by the glacial waters of the river Skjalfandafljot, which cut through the 8000-year-old Bardoardalur lava field.
