Thame 13 Kongde (Kwangde) From Thangmoche - Kongde Shar, Kongde Lho, and Kongde Nup  [13 of 13]


The broad summit ridge of Kongde (Kwangde) shines in the early morning sun from Thangmoche (3840m), just over the ridge north of Thame (3820m). From left to right are Kongde Shar (6093m), Kongde Lho (6186m), and after the big dip in the ridge Kongde Nup (6035m). Kongde Lho was first climbed on October 17, 1975 via the South Ridge by Lhakpa Tenzing. Sonam Gyalzen, Shambhu Tamang and Sonam Hisi.
