As I neared Thame, I stopped to look around. I looked back at the trail to Namche Bazaar, with Thamserku towering overhead. To the south, the ridge from Kongde (Kwangde) Shar to Kongde Lho to Kongde Nup towered overhead. The ridge from Tengkangpoche to Panalotopa to the west leads up to the Tashi Lapcha pass.
