Dubai Travel Guidebooks

1. Dubai City Guide (Lonely Planet)

Lonely Planet is my favourite guidebook series with the right amount of detail, well written and accurate.

2. Dubai Encounter (Lonely Planet)

A nice small guidebook, but still packed with the information you need. Lonely Planet is my favourite series with the right amount of detail, well written and accurate.

3. Oman, UAE and Arabian Peninsula (Lonely Planet)

This book has a good but brief overview of Dubai.

• burj-al-arab - the official Burj Al Arab website has great virtual tours and spectacular photos (select Press Centre and then Image Library)
• dubaicity.com - detailed list of Dubai attractions, hotels and restaurants.
• dubaicityguide.com - great maps of Dubai
• en.wikipedia.org - Wikipedia website has good photos, history and lots of links on Dubai
• lonelyplanet.com - Lonely Planet website has good basic overview and information on Dubai
