81 Cuba - Havana Centro - Museo de la Revolucion and tank used in Bay Of Pigs [44 of 55]
The Museo de la Revolucion is housed in the former Presidential Palace in Havana Centro, constructed between 1913 and 1920 and used by a string of cash-embezzling Cuban presidents, culminating in Fulgencio Batista. In front of the building is an SAU-100 tank used by Castro during the 1961 Battle of the Bay of Pigs. The museum houses documents, photographs and artefacts pertaining to the Cuban Revolution and provides an excellent introduction to, and understanding of, Cuba's history and its struggle for independence.
