My third favourite painting at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana Centro was Wilfredo Lam, La Silla, The Chair, 1943. I also liked several other excellent Wilfredo Lam paintings at the museum, including the El tercer mundo, The Third World, 1966; Huracán, Hurricane, 1946; and Mujer Sentada, Seated Woman, 1949. Amelia Pelaez, Interior con Columnas, Interior with Columns, 1951, was another favourite. I also liked Flores Amarillas, Yellow Flowers, 1964, by Amelia Pelaez.
