My favourite painting at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana Centro was Tomas Sanchez, Relacion, Relationship, 1986. We stopped in our tracks and sat down to admire and become engrossed in this magical mystical landscape. Raul Martinez, Isla 70, Islands 70, 1970, was another favourite. I also liked his other Warhol-like paintings Siempre Che, Che Forever, 1970; and 15 repeticiones de Marti, 1966.
