The Marina Cienfuegos organizes a 2-hour sunset cruise in the Cienfuegos bay, going all the way out to Castillo de Jagua and returning. The Castillo de Jagua guards the narrow entrance to Cienfuegos bay. This small fort was completed in 1745 to keep pirates away. The photogenic village of Perche below the Castillo has battered old houses on stilts over the water.
